I've had a set of white-face gauges for my '94 Talon TSi sitting in the box unused for months and finally got around to researching installation. Of course, the gauges don't come with any instructions other than "professional installation recommended." I read all of the postings about installation here and found a decent faq online, and given the potential complications people seem to have experienced I'd prefer to have a professional shop deal with it if it wouldn't cost too much. I called several general mechanics in my neighborhood and none of them knew how to do it, and finally I called a speedometer shop and the guy said it wasn't something he usually did but that he could probably figure it out, but for around $150...yikes. Does anyone know of any shops in SoCal (south bay/LAX hopefully) that would install them? Seems like something that wouldn't be that difficult once you've done it a few times, but the first is always a bi***...

Any help would be appreciated.

i cant help you with finding someone, but many people on the boards have done it themselves and im sure would be willing to help you. The only thing you may have to go through is trial and error but if it saves you 150$ then why not?

Try umm NI autosports I know there off hawthorne. There address is 10915 Hawthorne Blvd
Inglewood, CA 90304

thats the only place I can think of thats close to you.

there is a pretty good shop that does all kind of aftermarket installations on these types of cars, exit east on Firestone off the 710 and just before Paramount Blvd. should be on your right. not too far from you.

I had them installed today (along with the carbon fiber bezel) for $40 at Nu Image. Everything works except for the oil pressure! A number of people seem to have had this problem, I'm going to take it back tomorrow and see if they can figure out what's up. Nice guys though and really good prices.

yeah, doesn't exactly seem like a unique problem. If we can't figure it out tomorrow at the shop I guess I'll just order an aftermarket 3 gauge set--fortunately I have an extra slot beneath my cd player.
