I just recently got my talon repainted, right now I plan on keeping it covered when I'm not driving it at least until I can wax it.

I was told 4 to 6 wks until I could use waxes and commercial car washes...what my questions are:

1. What wax should I use when the 4 to 6 wks are up?
2. How should I clean it before the 4 to 6 wks is up?

Currently I have only used the Californa Duster to clean it, is there anyone that has had experience with this? I spent a good chunk of money on the paint job I don't want to do anything stupid to shorten the life or damage the paint. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I wouldnt worry about keeping it clean. Anything you touch to the surface could possibly scratch it. When you wax it, look for carnuba waxes (spelling) because they dry the hardest and therefore protect the best.

Meguirs Gold Class, great wax. The best waxes are the ones you can't buy, according to body guys i've talked to. Talk to the guy who painted your car see what he uses, get it.
