I curently have a blitz body kit on the car now. I want to switch over to a bomex kit. Has any one ever bought a kit from ebay? I know it won't be the original bomex, but its cheap price. Any info?

If it's a cheap price to buy off ebay chances are it's gonna cost you more in the long run to get put on and mounted then just to buy the real kit and get it done. Think long term!

I have been pricing the authentic Bomex and the lowest price is $737 plus shipping. They said it's the real thing other places are usually over 1K. Any comment?

i bought my body kit in person...good thing i did dude tried to give me some flimsey ass fiberglass that would probably cracked if you drove over 60...like he said you get what you pay for...take a look at it in person if all possible...also think..it will be like a whole lot to ship and then you get it and it is cracked...you dish out all that cash AGAIN to ship it back....

Go with the real thing i think you will have less problems to deal with! you don't want to put all this time to fix a bodykit that you can't et your money back on!

I got a blitz kit, of the four parts, the one that fit without a lot of problems was the back, up to know the front bumper doesn't line up perfectly with the fenders, oh well the body shop guy did say he'll fix it for free =)

if you insist on a knock off bomex.. atlesat get a half decent company's knock off... like importfan - yes i know some have had problems with them but theyve seemed to have changed over the last few years to a good company with goof fitting products - that or like a VIS kit or something - i dont think they make a bomex knock off however.

the bomex front is pretty alright, the sides are cool.. but the back.. no thanks, the square holes for the "dual" exhust is retarded haha.. get a different rear and you will be set.

I would prefer to buy it cheap, because in the long run you will save money. I have a cheap knock-off of the invader front bumper, it cracks pretty easily, however repairing kits only cost $12 - $20 and its not that hard to repair if something does happen to it..(as long as it hasn't hit a brick wall head on)

As for the post. DONT BUY IT CHEAP! Buy the original bomex kit it is worth it! My friend bought it when it wasnt on there new pricing list for 2000 bucks! And he did not regret it. It will fit perfect plus it is soooooooooooooo much nicer! I bought a kit off of ebay and the front was allright but the sides and back felt like paper thin and did not fit at all!

700 is not that much for a kit. I just shelled out 1000 for a good poly urethane kit!

Bomex parts are now cheaper than the knockoffs.

Google around. It's around 215-240 for a front, 200-220 for sides, and 240 for the rear

Thanks for all the imformation you guys put out there, I will probably go with the real thing. Someone stated that importfan sells knockoffs, I thought they sold the real thing.
