1G Laser To Talon Taillight Issue

I searched under "conversion" and "tail*" and couldn't find anything relating to wiring issues when converting a 1G Laser to a Talon. If I missed it, I apologize and please direct me to it. Anyway, it seems that if I put the plugs into the appropriate spots in the Talon lenses, I get the amber's illuminated when I brake. If anyone has done this conversion, I'd love to hear from you regarding any other issues I'm going to face with bumper covers, side panels, etc. Thanks for the space.
