I did a search and didn't really find anything, so I am sorry if there have already been posts about this. I was just wondering what the projector lights look like for the 2gs. Also for those that have them, do they put out enough light? I had a Cavalier for awhile and the projectors for those sucked, they put out no light, so I am wondering if ours suffer the same. Thanks alot!

Thanks a ton, that is the info. I wanted, sorry for not searching well enough I guess, still new to the site....thnx again

I have the Gen. 2 and there not that bad. I had blue bulbs in and they sucked, I recently put my factory bulbs back in for inspection and there isn't much difference between the factory housings and the Gen. 2's. I did notice on high beams the Gen. 2 seem to be a little brighter, but on low's a didn't notice a difference.

Here is a picture from JC whitney, they are similar to the ones I have. The only difference is that mine are black but they are paintable like the picture shows and also the eclipse lamps come with a clear plastic cover. I don't think the projection is any different they just look sweet. Also the drivers side is a pain cause their is what I believe a AC line that makes it difficult to get the drivers side hi beam to lock in securly. I just bent the line a little bit to get the hi beam to lock in.

they look like 95-96 but i could be wrong

Sorry for not replying sooner.

irjoshy - I'll take some daytime pics tomorrow, someone else has already asked me to so it won't be a problem. Also, they ARE those projectors you linked to on eBay, but black housing instead, and yes, the light output is quite a bit better than stock, even with the cheap bulbs they come with.

TJones12 - nearly all projectors are made for 97-99, even mine. You just can't see the gap in the picture because it's dark, but even in the daytime it is hardly noticeable unless you're looking for it, because behind the gap is black as well.

I'll post up some day pics in here tomorrow.

Later,
S

thanks alot spidey.. one more question.. have you figured out what type of bulbs they use? i have no idea because it didnt say in the documentation that came with them...

^^^Yeah, be sure to get some like that. Alot of the projectors made for the eclipse will use the H3 bulb. That lighting is so terrible! Same bulb for the 2gb fogs, so you can imagine.

VOTBLINDUB, where did you get yours? So which bulb does the Halo ones use then?

Mine use H3s fow low beam, and H1s for high beam. Like I said before, the light output is better than stock, I'm assuming they used some better projectors this time around.

Here's day pics, showing the gap and stuff. A bit overcast today so I tried to lighten them up.
