1g talon convert body to 1g eclipse (93-94)

ok me and a bud want to swap our front and rear bumpers and everythign attached


he has a 93 eclipse awd i have a 94 talon awd

can we swap over without any modifcations at all? even spoliers and all.

one thing to consider is my exhaust fits through the hole on the talon, but the eclipse does not have that hole, anyone fill us out I need to know by 2:00 pm west coast time tommorow the 16th, thanks guys

you will have to swap rear taillights as well as rear bumpers. also the door mouldings on the two cars attach differently so there will be lots of work to be done in that area. i take it both your cars are the same color though? while you could swap wings out, i don't remember there being much of a difference between the two.

Oh we are just going to do the front bumper... rear bumper tail lights spoiler

You may also need to cut out a bumper support on the back of the Eclipse to fit the middle part of the tail lights. I had to remove part of mine when I swapped to the Talon rear end, all I did was take a pair of tinsnips and cut out the section its not real thick.
Also is your spoiler shorter than his?? I put my Talon spoiler unto my eclipse and its shorter on the sides so you have an extra screw sticking out on the eclipse.

i figured i'd revive this thread vs. making yet another. To anyone that has put 1Gb talon tails on a 1Gb Eclipse i hear the wiring is differant for the blinkers. Anyone able to confirm this and if so you have a link to a walkthrough or anything on how to rewire them? thanks
