im sure this has been covered a billion times but the search didnt get anything.

basically I know someone selling a OEM carbon fiber hood, which I want, but the problem is it has a gauge on the hood, and screw holes and other things, which I would want to repair.

how easy is this to be done?

and I know the one dude on here is going to say fill them and paint the hood like it shoud be so dont even say it because im not gonna paint it LOL.

heres some pics.

thanks.

repairing it will f-up the natural weave of the cf. I suggest filling in the holes and painting the entire hood or paint the repaired parts and leave some of the hood unpainted showing off the cf...

you cant really fix carbon fiber once the pattern is broken. Since the resin is transparent you cant really put carbon fiber mat in the hole and ''patch'' it. Best solution is to paint that part or you can put carbon fiber in the hole and try to match the pattern the best you can.
