Any of you guys out there with experience taking tint off, what is the best way to get that damn glue off? Goof off sucks, acetone sucks....anyone got a solution? and yes i know this is in the wrong forum, but ill get a reply faster if i post here

Glass cleaner and fine steel wool...Thats what ALL REAL tint shops use to clean the glue off. Just keep lots of glass cleaner on the glass and dont let it dry up. Oh and be easy on the defroster lines!

I have been installing tint for 8 years now, and the best removal is steam. Find an iron or steamer, steam the window and peel, it pulls the glue off with it

spray it liberally with water and put a garbage back behind it and leave it in the direct sun for a few hours...makes a great steam bath for it and peels right off
