The reverse lights on my 97 RS don't work anymore. I thought maybe both bulbs were bad and replaced them. They still don't work.

Is there a fuse or something else I could check?

Thanks

Not sure what kind of transmission you have, but there's a reverse sensor on the turbo model manual transmission that is used of course to detect when you're in reverse. Maybe yours is bad, or the harness has a bad connection?

Yeah, could be the reverse sensor, but check the fuse first, just to be sure. :thumb:

Check in the fuseblock under your dash or under your hood. :D :thumb:

i'd check the wires going to the bulb housing with a multimeter to see if there are any shorts - make sure ground is grounded - make sure hots aren't grounded...

Driver's side, top of the transmission, should be a connector with 2 green wires- that's the backup light switch. Make sure the connector is on securely.

This is all out of the books, I've not had my hands on an N/T, so I may be mistaken. But give it a try.
