New project....95 Eclipse

Im curious if anyone on here can get me some ideas for someone to who can rebuild a 2g nonturbo motor from a 95 eclipse, GS. I am helping my stepson with this project as he wants to have this for his first car when he turns 16 at the end of summer. I'm trying to decide if the motor is worth rebuilding or ordering a crate... any help or suggestions would be great..

I think your best choice is P3 there in Wasilla, he's good and familiar with Mitsubishi's. My friend had him do his 91 Talon he was happy with him. There is also a few in Anchorage that could do it but since your in Wasilla be lot easier deal with P3. He also has new dyno and is a tuner if he ever wants take further. Seth at P3 is a good guy and knows his stuff when it comes to mitsu's even though the 420a is a Chrysler motor. I've done business with P3 in the past and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

Thanks for the tip, I've talked to him on the phone and going to take the motor down there for him to check out... hoping its just the heads like I was told...

I have a 4G63 that I need machined up here in Fairbanks. I was going to ship it to MAPerformance in Minnesota. Let me know if P3 does any good with the build. It would save a lot of money on freight if I could just ship it to Wasilla.
