92 galant vr4

So I just got a 1992 galant VR4. It's got some potential but the wiring got hacked into and it needs a lot of work. I was wondering if anyone here has got any experience with either Galant VR4's, or hacked up wire jobs?

There are quite a few DSM and few GVR4 guys over on Alaska Motor Sports that could probably help. My friend has a GVR4 but he doesn't read the forums too much. He might beable help you little. AKMS Forums

Who did you get the GVR4 from? and what color is it?

Someone in South Anchorage, don't have the guys name on me but I could get it.

It's rattle canned flat black, but it was Bezile Green.

It's quite the project. The wiring under the dash is all hacked into it, it's all taped back together.. The gauge cluster lights don't work, the gas gauge, boost gauge, and temp gauge all don't work. It idles a little funny sometimes, and it's a little bit slow.

But it's running, and it drives decently. I'm painting it black once I finish all the body work.

Cool at least its running. Once I get my tax return (should be next week), I'm picking up a friends 91 Galant VR4. I'm super excited to get back into the AWD world. Theres problems here and there with it. Hopefully I'll have it out Ice Racing sometime in Feb.
