New to the dsm thing and I was wondering if the guys (and girls) here in anchorage ever meet anywhere. I'm just curious because I'd like to see some of the other rides and what everyone up here is running and what works from then. My names Ian and I might be a converted f body guy so let me know.

Hopefully there will be a pick up in meets when I get back, showcasing my galant...Im also an converted F-Body guy....welcome...

I myself am also an F-body convert but I still own my 80 Z/28 project but I always been into GM products until I bought my GS-T a little over 3 years ago so the Camaro has been on the back burner but I still have a 400 small block complete and a rebuilt 402 big block complete with less than 10,000 miles on it and a 396 big block in pieces in my shed and a rebuilt 350 small block in my Camaro with less than 5,000 miles on the motor.

Ok you guys are making me feel a little better about going to the dark side.. You probably understand why I don't want to put some loud exhaust on it too. Do you know of an exhaust that is somewhat quiet, or at least doesn't buzz like all the other rice running around? I really like this car it just doesn't make the right noises. I figure camming it might help but I really don't think cams on a motor this small it's going to do a whole lot for performance. I will probably end up just making my own exhaust but I'm still going to need a quiet muffler. We will see I guess. If I turn the boost up to 14-15psi without any other mods am I going to blow it up? Just trying to think of the order in which to do my mods.

Most of the loud river exhausts are on a N/A Honda or something that sounds like shot. A nice 3" will sound deep and throaty on these cars

I thought 14 psi is what it ran stock...as for exhaust get the Punishment racing 3 in down pipe, awesome piece..IDK if your gonna run a cat or not, but a nice 3 in test pipe and then a you could rig up an evo 8/9 muffler and have hella flow and it'll be quiet..

Sorry I would but my GS-T is at P3 getting the head repaired & few other things getting done. But hopefully I will be doing a bottom end rebuild on a 6 bolt block over the winter & have it in by spring or I might rebuild my 7 bolt bottom end sooner than later but I'm pushing for the later.
