Any DSM'ers in Germany?

Just curious to know if there are any DSMers over here in Germany, around the Rheinland-Pfalz area (Kaiserslautern, Weisbaden, etc). Been over in Germany for about 2 months now, waiting for my GS-T to get here. Just a little curious to know if there's anyone registered in that area because there's a red 2g eclipse GSX (looks stock), a black 2g eclipse GSX (with a huge FMIC), and a few 1g's with FMIC's running around. Would be cool to meet some fellow DSMers in the area.

You should check out DSMworld.net - Das deutsche Forum für Mitsubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon & Plymouth Laser.

There are a lot of DSM'ers from Europe over on that site. Some of them speak english, but hopefully you picked up a bit of German while you're over there.

Yes there was DSM's shipped/sold in Europe. To my knowledge and what i have been told most of them are N/T DSM's.

no not europe just germany mate im in england and all the eclipse's here only 9? are all imported from america or germany from ex usaf as they got a base in germany theres only 1 just 1 eclipse 4g in england and its american! i know of 3 4g63t turbos but 1 is a gsx and 2 are gst's 1 of them gst's is mine the rest are 420a's amd 4g63 n/t due to exhaust regulations and shit like that!

I think EVERY guy in germany who likes driving and tuning drives on the Nordschleife. (Nürburgring / Grüne Hölle / Green Hell)

One day after I got my driving licence I did my first lap at the Nordschleife in a 2005 Toyota Corolla 1.6 VVTi E12.
After that a got my 1989er Honda Civic 1.6i... I striped out the car and did a engine swap to the D16Z5 DOHC engine of a crashed CRX. With this Civic I drove numerous laps at the Nordschleife...

But I never drove there with my DSM untill now.

No, not realy. For Germany 1G DSMs are realy cheap. You can get one in good conditions with less then 60.000 miles for about 3000$...

The 2G DSMs are a little bit more expencive... prices starts at 6000$ for a good one.

But in Germany you only get none-Turbo DSMs with front wheel drive. Even they are exotic. The Turbo DSMs and AWD DSMs are realy uniq in europe. In Austria you can get 1Gs none-turbos with AWD...

By the way, german (or european DSMs) are a little bit special. So for example the 1G here has an other compression and the engine developes 150 HP / 110 KW. Not only 136 HP / 100 KW like the US Eclipse GS. (so we in Germany call the EUDM GSi und the UDSM GS)

The 2G non-turbo in Germany has a 4G63 engine like the turbo in the USA. The non-turbo 4G63 engine in the German 2G Eclipse GS does about 141-146 HP and is very similar to the 1G non-turbo engine... (a bit better at low-revs and a bit less powerfull at high-revs)



At last: I'm sorry for my poor English. But I'm not used to speak oder whrite in English at all...

If you go to Bushur racing website, they have a guy here in germany around Frankfurt.... Never had any work done by him but after talkin he seems like he knows what the hell he's talkin about. But I just dont let anyone touch my car....
