exhaust manifold gasket replacement?

I recently replaced the turbo on my 95 GST frw in a local import shop. It was just another stock turbo as the other one the bearings were going out on the compressor side. The car runs fantastic! Well the day AFTER my car drives like it did when I took it in to replace the turbo, its sluggish, no BOV noise, can tell its slower. I took it back they told me the newer turbo blew the exhaust manifold gasket and that I needed to replace it. They wanted to charge $250! Just to replace a $20 gasket. I have done this before on domestic trucks but not imports. Need a step by step or general instructions on how I can just do this myself. (if at all possible) Any advice I can get would be VERY much appreciated!
