I was in the same situation a while back. I purchased the talon from a police auction and the timing belt broke as well denting the piston. At that time I not have the money to rebuild the engine so I actually used a dremel and smooth out the dents the best I could and replaced the head with one I bought off a guy on here. Personally I don't recommend doing it this way. If possible replace the pistons. How much is guy selling the car? If I can find a pic of the marks on my piston I will post it on here.
