This is a heads-up for all members who skipped the rules and didn't read the FAQ Forum and Tech Guide like they were supposed to. If you ask a question that is clearly answered in those two areas you'll receive a warning for posting a commonly answered question. The Newbie Forum is not a substitute for doing your own research. It's here so you can ask Newbie-like questions in a friendly environment. However, if you show us that you haven't read the rules of the site and have not done your own research (by doing the required reading), you'll receive warnings and will probably eventually be suspended. This has nothing to do with the Search feature either, it's simply about reading the FAQ Forum and the Tech Guide before you post. If you post something that is answered in those two areas, it will be obvious to everyone that you didn't read through those two resources first.
