If you do could you please tell me?? Something keeps stripping the teeth off of my speedo gear causing my speedometer not to work. I know that isnt really a big thing but it is an inconvienience.. I just had the transmission taken out to replace it about 2 months ago and it quit working again a few weeks ago. anybody know whats wrong?

I read this thread immediately because of the Family Guy reference...

Maybe the gear on the differential that the speedometer gear mates to is damaged. That's the first thing I thought of after reading your problem.

Sounds like you need a refund.

There are also other factors you need to consider that could cause this, other then the transmission (mainly if you have a M/T) Proper working shift cables, things like that, but If a reputable shop removed, repaired, and installed your tranny they should have checked for proper operation and you should be under some sort of warrenty.

My advice, take your car back and bi***.
