gauge cluster- nt to t

if i swap in a turbo ecu, do i have to put in the turbo gauge cluster with stock boost gauge? and will it require more wiring as well? i have done alot of research, but havent heard much about it??? but i have heard that you can't replace a turbo cluster with a non- turbo cluster????

I didn't. You won't. The stock boost gauge is garbage. Go aftermarket.

you can do it, all you really have to do is add the wire for the stock boost guage, but as timg mentioned its useless. go aftermarket anyways. i'm still on the stock stuff + aftermarket boost guage.

i was just wondering if you had to..... thats better though because now i won't have a useless boost gauge stuck in my gauge cluster like all those turbo guys.......i wonder why turbo guys don't put in a n't cluster when they go to an aftermarket one?

why is it a wiring issue? won't you just need to get rid of 1 wire?

Well.... maybe. Or, maybe not. See? It's an issue. Why deal with it? Then there's the grab another gauge cluster, hope it works... no, some of us would rather just drive.

well when i go turbo, i'm leavin my stock one in then......and i'll mount a boost gauge somewhere else......i think it will look sweet.....
