thanks man i just dont really like the way that the filter looks inside the motor

Is there a write up on how exactly to do this? I invested $200+ in my Injen Race Division full CAI so... I may aswell use it right? Or am I better off with a brand new filter (I have had this on the car for about 6months) that comes w/ Hahn?

Whatever gives me the best performance, is what I want to do

No last time I looked the filter has a nice shiny chrome cover on the end that says K&N and it came out of a K&N box. Dunno who told you they gave you a cheap filter with it......As far as I know they ship standard with the K&N's.... :thumb:

On the list of what comes w/ stages 1-3 it says, "Foam Filter" I beleive... www.HahnRaceCraft.com

The gain's are very minimal, but if you are desperate, it would be something. I had my old AEM CAI laying around and have been half tempted to do the same thing. Instead selling it to someone with a Lancer OZ for $35.00 who did a whole buncha sh!t to make it properly fit with the MAS.

Before selling it I was about to install it, to help me out at the track every last bit. Then I figured it was simply better to just remove my left headlight when running down the track.. which accomplishes the same thing, if not more.. Plus I'd hate to part with my shiny chromed 'bling bling' piping :thumb:

Depends on what kind of a filter I get..... and if I can sell it for around $100. I'd keep it for 3hp, B4 I sold it for $100. Or is there something else I can do to get a few hp? :p
