I am thinking about taking the leap and have a few questions. I have a 97 GS with the 420A.

1) I am by no means a mechanic but can follow instructions just fine. Can I install this myself?

2) Does the engine need to be pulled out or can I get to all the parts just fine?

3) Is it neccesssary to redo my internals. hahn's website says no, what's your exerience?

4) How much boost did you run after install? Hahn says 5, what's your ecperience.

Thnaks.

1) if you have some automotive knowledge you can do it yourself. i think its better to do it by yourself or with friends so you know your car well.

2) you don't have to pull the motor

3) if you stay at stage 1 and only run 5lbs of boost, you wont have to redo your motor. if you start running 10lbs of boost, then after awhile you will detonate ;)

4) run only 5lbs on stage 1 kit. you don't have an intercooler.

Cool, everything I wanted to hear. LOL.

I've seen you have done quite a bit of work on your car. Can you tell me how long it takes approximately to replace the manifold? Also, how long did it take you to install the whole kit. hahn says 8-10 hours I think, just trying to get an accurate idea.

siu you really need to help me when i get my kit in the winter! seriously!

its a pain in the ass but its worth the pain i just had to get ten stitches in my arm yesterday due to the stock header the was a bi*** to get off
