Is there any problems with having a turbo on a car and having it pass emissions? I have a miata and i was told turboing it would make it fail emissions. Is this true? thanks guys.

depends on the setup....and the state you are in...im not too sure about georgia. but as far as a turbo setup alone goes, it passes in New York, and i think the only places its tougher to get an inspection are CA and FL. hope this helps... :dsm:

Florida repealed the emissions law some 3-4 years ago. There is no vehicle emissions inspection requirements to renew your tag in Florida.

How do I know? I live in Florida.

depends where you live and what you did. in ca if it dont look and pass the machine its a no go for mods. unless of course you find a place that thinks its stock?
