I have the turbo set up lying around from my eclipse when I sold it, (unless someone wants to buy a whole turbo set up for 600 good qualitiy too with lots of stuff) I'm considering buying a cheepo neon and slaping it on. Anyone ever had experience with this, I know the engine is reversed. Can I use the same manifold from my eclipse? :thumb:

I would save a lot of time and effort with just selling the kit and have a DD. Honestly, look for another car with the exhaust side out in front and call it a day.

Got a daily, looking for a pos 95 with a standard trans to #### with. Only things I can find are overprices eclipse, and some neons. Havent seen ANY sebrings or avenger, except one which is auto for 800.

My main question is will my log style and t3/t4 fit with a neon? I know very well how to go turbo and that mods are required, I already turbocharged my 420a eclipse.

Well look at the engine on the neon? Does the manifold and turbo fit back there?
I think there is a lot of custom made work to boost a neon, an I think it would even be less powerful than a 420a. :p

Neons have a 420a engine btw just block is flipped.

I wish I would have took pictures of all the cutting a kid I know (not a friend) did to his neon when he turbo'd it. He seriously hacked a huge chunck out of the wiper cowl and everything below it. Funniest hack job I have ever seen in person. It lasted all of a week before it blew but then again the kid was an obvious idiot.

The block is not flipped. The ports are just on the opposite side of the cylinder head. Intake on the front and exhaust on the rear. The best bet would be to buy a stock srt4 turbofold setup and run it on the 1st gen neon engine.
