I know that some of you guys out there are realizing what I am about to post, it's concerning the Hahn and Star Stage 2 systems. Most of you might not realize that when you buy the stage 2 system, it will run on your stock injectors, however, you arn't getting the power and response that you really want. I know some of us are running larger injectors, personally I am running 310's because they are prefect for the amount of air I'm pushing.

Some of you with the stage 2's may be hitting fuel cut, or feel like you are losing power, well that's your reason. The stock injectors are only 190cc's. It's a big difference in power, and most of the guys can vouch for the 310's. By posting this thread I am hoping that some of your questions about fuel and power might be answered.

Where are you guy's getting the 190cc number? The stock injectors are 235cc. I went to Hahn's website because I thought I rememberd someone saying their site said 190cc. The site is down now though. The stock injectors are 235cc though not 190cc.

No bro they are rated at 190cc's.....I know it dosen't sound right but it is the truth. Most injectors are rated at idle fuel pressue, and ours were rated at 45psi of pressure, the rating, 190cc.

These injectors are stock 235cc units (I believe that is at an 85% duty cycle) Here is a link to the fuel system that I will be using on my car. This was designed by Corbin, a mechanical enginneer, and when he made this system he sent his injectors to be blueprinted, balenced, and cleaned. On the paperwork he got back it had their flow results, 235cc. I don't know why Hahn would say 190cc but it's a typo or a different way of rating the injectors, that IMO is not accurate. I bet 190cc injectors would be to small for our stock power output. Here is the formula "Yep...235 cc/min at 43.5 psi
In case you don't know...cc/min = lb/hr X 10.5" Another option is that the ones Hahn had could have been dirty or tested at the wrong pressure.

hey 98turbo420a how much air are you runnin usually cause i was thinkin about getting 310s and wanted to know what the best psi was to run with them. thanks alot

I've read 235cc in FSM's.

I don't believe that 190cc is right soley because at 2gnt we ALL base our fuel systems on a 235cc stock injector size. I think if we were trying to base our calculations and adjustments on the wrong size injector we would have figured it out long time ago. Who knows, someone go get one tested.

Also please show me where in the shop manuel it says this. I looked through my entire shop manual and it does not list their flow properties anywhere. If your working from a chiltons or something you may have some number, but it's not in the factory manual.

Sorry to reincarnate a semi-dead thread BUT... I had a few questions and really didn't find the answers I wanted to hear.

First I don't want to argue about the 190 vs 235cc injector though it would seem that if I were going to ask what the stock size is... those are the ONLY two sizes that seem to be in question. So... does anyone have a number OTHER than those two?

Second, has anyone NOT running a turbo and NOT running Nitrous Oxide ever had the need for larger injectors or raising the fuel pressure on a 2gnt?

And third, can anyone give me any info on these companies that measure and blueprint injectors? I really hadn't planned on spending any more money on the cars for the next few months but I've got a set of 95 injectors, and the fuel rail with pressure regulator, and I've got a set of injectors and fuel rail without fuel pressure regulator (for later model 2gnt with fuel pressure regulator in the rear of the car) that I could send off for research purposes. Anyone got any links or anything that could help me out here?
Doug
