I've got a favor to ask of the n/a to turbo experts. Take a look over my part list and tell me any good/bad suggestions or advice. I looked over the "End All Parts List for Turbo" and I think I have everything covered, but I'm trying to do this over the weekend and want to make sure I'll have EVERYTHING needed. I already have the motor out of the car, taken apart, and the block is ready to be machined.

Im wanting to run around 10 psi daily, and at least 15 psi on the track. Or at the very least have about 250 whp. I've removed the power steering and a/c system.

Tuning/ECU:
Megasquirt v2.2 with v3 chip

Fuel System:
580cc Injectors
Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator (set to 1:1 ratio)
Walbro 255

Bottom End:
JE 8.8:1 .020 Over
Eagle Rods
Total Seal Gapless Piston Rings
Felpro MLS Headgsket
ARP Head Studs
Stock Rod and Main Bearings

Turbo System:
Garrett T3/T4 A/R 50
Log Style Manifold
Tial 38mm Wastegate
Greddy type RZ Blow Off Valve
Greddy 27" x 3" FMIC

Guages/Electronics:
A/F Ratio
Boost
Fuel Pressure
Oil Pressure
Greddy Electronic Boost Controller
HKS Turbo Timer

Misc:
Oil feed/Return Lines
Vacuumn Line
Stock Intake Manifold
Stock Head (maybe find some crower stage 2's)
Prothane Motor Mounts

And I'll finish it all up with a 3" exhaust.

That looks like a solid build. I take it you are going to be running pump gas from your injector size. And I seen you had an A/F ratio gauge down, I assume that is a wideband, correct?

I just did stock rebuild around 12k miles ago and since then I've only ran E91 pump gas and plan to keep running it during this build also. Higher octane level means less chance of knock, right?

The A/F gauge isn't a wide band but I got it for free practically and figured it would work until i could pick a good one up in the next couple weeks.

Anyone think this build will meet, or possibly exceed, my power goals?

So since your running E91 and MS I would suggest going much larger on the injectors. And Do not do all these wonderful thought out mods and run a blinky light A/F guage. A wideband is a must. Should be able to hit your goal quite easily, but your injectors are going to be a weak point. MS can controll much larger injectors, and I would suggest starting out with more cc's.

BTW: E91? that make that?

I'm ordering a wideband tomorrow most likely.

What?

And what size injectors should i be looking for? At this stage I'm just wanting big enough injectors to support my build. Not the largest MS can control just because it can.

Here is a simple chart:
HP Goal – Min Injector Size (cc/min)*
250hp-....... 550cc
300hp-....... 650cc
350hp-....... 750cc
400hp-....... 850cc
450hp-....... 950cc
500hp-....... 1050cc

Here is a simple calculator on Fuel Injector Clinic's website:
Fuel Injectors FLow Calculator - Fuelinjectorclinic

And this is probably more info the you want but here you go:

Here is a good post I found, hopefully you find this helpful.

Keep in mind the "e" fuels require bigger injectors. Looks good on paper mate! IMO, you're good to 400whp. Just wondering where you got the Wiseco Rods from? I didn't know they made rods for the 420a. I know they make pistons out the bum-bum for our platform, but I was unaware of rods.
