Going turbo, need help with fuel/engine management (if any)

You need to upgrade to a more powerful fuel pump because what the FMU does is increase your fuel pressure when you start boosting. If your pump can't pump enough fuel to keep up with your FMU you will run out of fuel and run lean.

I would suggest getting a SFMU from the get go. If you ever want to increase your injector size it will allow you to adjust your basefuel pressure to compensate for it so you don't have to run insane fuel pressures while boosting.

This sounds likea bag or worms....
you need to run a return line fro your rail to plumb the sfmu.

...your screwed.. just pull the motor, build it, strap on a 35r, run ms with a 1:1, and push some boost you lag monster!

heh! already did that except mine is using PF and msd dis2.... runs beautiful....:hellyeah:

still skeptical on the portfueler. I feel like I don't have total control over everything, ie spark fuel and everything. MS does it all and you can real time tune it while driving!
I do see the benefits of having daily driving on the stock injectors and having the biger ones ready to kick in under boost.
Another forum topic perhaps-

Actually this isnt a daily driver, and i love the portfueler system. I found an MSD dis2 for cheap on ebay so it worked out well for me. Also with using 2 step colder plugs too. I ended up making 27psi of boost. And everything worked just fine for me, several pulls with out an issue. Now i just have to moddify the trans at least for an LSD.... You can go to my profile for a list of my mods too.
