Turbo on my N/A

I am wanting to turbo my 1997 eclipse gs. I am not looking for some huge exspensive kit from hahn or star. All I want is to run 8psi at the most with a garrett t-25. I dont want it to be intercooled either. I was wondering if anyone can provide a list of all parts that i would need to do this custom project. I was also wondering if you can run 8psi or less on an N/A engine without upgrading internals.

you dont have to upgrade the internals untill 10 psi i think. but 8 psi w/o an intercooler is rough on your car

Well I would be running 8psi at the most. Why is 8psi rough without an intercooler??

He is right, 5PSI is probably the most you want to run w/out an intercooler. The reason you need one is because the compressed air is hotter and causes detonation, not good. You could run 8PSI with a stock SMIC from a GST or somethin and get some custom IC piping made. Not much extra money.

you boost 8psi without an intercooler and you'll need to buy a bus pass.... You need oil lines, fuel pump, FMU, exhaust manifold for turbo, missing link, etc.etc.

Manifold, turbo, downpipe, intake, bov, piping, fcd, fuel pump, afpr, fuel line, oil line, an fittings, new gaskets, wastegate, boost gauge, a/f gauge, fuel pressure gauge, egt gauge, upgrade your clutch, couplings, boost controller...It's a never ending list. Be cheap if you want but plan on rebuilding then.

yea they are right, if your not going to do it correct dont do it, kids like you should sell there cars and get turbo cars and leave them stock, if you dont have the hook up your not gonna have a good custom turbo kit, sorry bro, just my $.02
