intercooler sprayers are a waste of time... I would just focus on getting the car tuned professionally and by someone that knows what there doing. Also im not really familiar with managment systems for the na engines but if you can find a way to tap into the engines timing, that is where you will make all your power. hope that helps

are you going to tune for more boost? 10 and 14 psi seem kinda low with a built bottom end, MS and a clutch to handle the power. I'm assuming the answer is yes considering you say you're looking for 400whp, haha

I would reccommend getting some Cams and Gears, something to control your fuel like an SFMU, a lightweight Underdrive Pulley, and a Jeep Throttle Body. the UDP will let you rev quicker, the Jeep TB will let more air in faster, the Cams and Gears will let you tune your timing and spool your turbo quicker, and the SFMU will give your injectors proper fuel.

+1 to Corey
Turn up the boost... lol. Looks like you have everything in order to actually do that.
You're going to need to run more than 14psi in order to hit 400whp.

Are you using MS to control fuel and spark?
If you're controling ignition with MS then you can basically do whatever you want.
If you're just using MS to control fuel, then yes, I would say 14psi is about the maximum, if you're using the standard Star Turbo, or equivelant, that is. Around that you'll start to run into some problems with detonation, due to the stock ignition advanced timing.

With MSnS, forged pistons and a good tuner on a dyno, I wouldn't worry much about how much boost. The tune is going to predicate that. "Higher" comp is not as scary as many think. It just requires a good eye and a good tuner. My last partial tune, I was running 21lbs on 10.5 comp with a BW366 (you want to keep in mind that boost is not a measure of horsepower).

I intend to go higher than that when I get back to the dyno.

With 14lbs on the turbo you have......you ###### in the range of 280whp depending on the tune. With a poor tune it can be lower.14PSi you can use the factory timing map and that will help you. If 400Wheel is your goal....you want to set your aim for 22+ psi. Just food for thought.

My old 420a turbo loved 20psi with MS and the stock ignition. It should only run 17-18* WOT and in my opinion thats not enough. That was 8.8:1 and a 60mm. Just had to run it a bit rich in the part throttle boost erea so it don't knock before the timing starts to retard. I don't see why you can't put down 400+ in the 25psi erea with a good 50 trim on 91.

25lbs+ should see him into the 500hp area. WITH A PROPER TUNE....
+1 to Bullet for promoting higher comp ratio's! He's right. If you have a good tuner and a proper build, you'll be fine. A higher comp ratio just means you have more low end torque and can spool your turbo faster.
