Hey guys, as you all may know I am currently running a test pipe that stinks up my car pretty bad. I don't believe I have an exhaust leak, I just think the gaskets down there are pretty crappy. Anyways, I was trying to see if anyone here has a true, good, and efficient 3" CAT converter? I need to pass inspection, and the test pipe sure won't help.

My test pipe measures 16" and 3/4. I dont' see why bolting up a universal 3" CAT (within those specs of course) wouldn't work for this issue. They all do the same thing.

ANyways, if anyone knows where to buy a quality Cat, please let me know! BTW, keep in mind I'm trying to save money!

I have a 3" cat from raod race engineering. It is a universal one and you will need to order the flanges to meet your exhaust.

I had a 3" downpipe going directly to my 3.14" Tanabe Racing Medalion.... HOLY loud. I got a 3" highflow "cat" for it. Its more like a 8" resonator, but it really made my car sound good. I bought another one for it, so I have 2 3" 8" long resonators and my muffler. completely straight through flow design and mellow tone. If my car ran, I'd post you a sound clip :p
