I've always run Castrol Syntec Blend, 10w30. Since the very first oil change on the car. Now, with a leaky headgasket, I use 10w30 from QuikTrip when I fill up.

I'm using mobil 1 oil

10w-30 fully synthetic

Or 5w-30

I too will be switching to Mobil 1 or Royal Purple after the rebuild, however.
