head gasket good enough?

i was just woundering if you guys know if the FelPro Complete Head Gasket Set that comes with the star stage 2 kit is strong enough to handle like 25psi or more? thanks

Your best bet has always been OEM. OEM MLS has proven itself many times over.

The OEM headkit is 108.00 roughly. Not a bad price at all.

What about the Cometic MLS HG? I've always heard good things about their boost withstanding potential.

I wouldn't use the FelPro if you're going for that much boost. The Start engineers didn't assume the kit would be used like that.

havent used a cometic HG for our cars....last kit i got from them was for my harley and i wasnt impressed at all. Had to regasket the motor 8 months later.

I suppose as long as its MLS you are safe but dont you have to order the cometic? OEM usually in stock.

True. Concept Illusions has them, but you're right, that would constitute "ordering" it.

Careful, lot of 2gnt members have had problems with CI being prompt or keeping with customer service. I have never used them personally.

On Topic, i just liek being able to get me HG set when i need it. I use my old work name (boss still lets be buy under his name) to get the set for about 98.00.
