1st) wrong forum
2nd) do a search on it and you will find out that around 7psi intercooled is safe.

Depends on the engine. Every motor is different, as is every turbo kit. To find the answers you're looking for, I can point you in a few directions. For pistons and rods, check out www.google.com. For more info on the 420A search www.2gnt.com. The key here is to SEARCH.

Agreed 2gnt will answer any queston you have. The answer is in theory if your comression is where it is supposed to be, then the stock bottom end can take up to 300crank hp. That is from 2gnt. So ask away. :thumb:

So like everyone else said and School house Rock, "knowledge is power", so keep searching, but I'll give you a good estimate though, "provided that your compression is on point, and your turbo system is done right (mainly fuel).

non-intercooled: stay alive at 4-5
Side intercooled: 6-7 is like being in heaven (over NA that is)
FMIC: 7-8 your engine should be straight
FMIC: 9-10 The end is near myfriend
FMIC: 11 and on, your engine is gone!

You really want to be careful pushing the stock bottom end to its limits, and properly set up 8psi (w/FMIC) should do ya right.

Couldn't have said it better, cause as soon as my car hit 11psi....engine went by by...

After how long did your engine go running on 11 psi? Also was that on stock internals.
