Kea'au,
hey,

i just installed my turbosmart gated manual boost controler and im wondering how to adjust it. i have made a couple passes, each time turning the boost dial clockwise 2 clicks everytime. i did this about 4 times and acrording to my boost guage the boost hasnt gone up yet. but the blow off valve sounds louder and so does the wastegate? im wondering if im just not turning the boost dial enough or if my boost guage is off. does anyone that has this boost controller know how many clicks equal a 1psi increase?

thank you for your time

mine is sourced at the turbo for the moment, if i source it from the intake mani.. wat do i use to plug the compressor side of the turbo?

oh i found out its 11clicks to complete a full turn.. how many clicks/turns results in a 1psi increase.

thanks

are you guys internal or external wastegated? I tried putting a boost controler on mine. Turbonetics Evolution External Wastegate. I can't get it to adjust. I get up to 10psi, and it wants to just keep going. Diamond Star Specialties sent me the wrong wastegate spring. I got the 4psi spring when I should have got the 9psi spring.

im running the same external wastegate as you snoopy, the turbonetics evolution. i think i might have the 4psi spring as well. does anyone know how to adjust this mbc so i can hopefully get 7psi?

thank you for ur time

check it out. I pulled that vac line that goes from the turbo to the wastegate off.... WG opens at 8-9. Spools faster, BOV is louder, and engine is running better.
