Would it be safe to boost on a 420a with stock internals? If so how much psi? or would all this just be cheaper to find a car with the 4g63t?

I tried to search for the answer but the seach isnt working, keeps bringin up a 404 error.

yah you can do it but its gonna cost money, you can boost about 6 to 8 safely. otherwise your gonna blow stuff up.

Thats 6-8psi intercooled.

Non-intercooled your gonna wanna stay in the 4-5psi range.

It really depends on your goals.
IF you sold your 420a and bought a 4g63, it be the cheaper route to attaining a turbo car. But if you start spending money on a new turbo for the 4g63t and a bottom end rebuild for it, then you'd be spending about the same. (Granted you will be able to run more boost and get more horsepower out of the 4g63,)

Personally, before I went turbo, I would have only traded my car for a 97+ Manual GSX, anything else to me would be a downgrade because of the setup I already had on my car, and the time I spent on it.

agreed. the only big reason to trade your car in would be for awd imo. but you can boost 6-8 psi on stock internals with an intercooler. search around, its been discussed a lot.
