Should I buy this turbo?

Hey guys whats up. A friend of mine has a 87 starion turbo for sale. Has little to no shaft play and is in good condition. He only wants $50 for it. Would this be a good turbo for a 96 GS going turbo?

the turbo is a t3 turbo. has it ever been rebuilt? if not i wouldnt. the seals are nearly 20 yrs old. if it isnt already leaking oil it will be soon. look in the forums and find a newer turbo. or look around somewhere else. that would be buying a headache
