First let me just say that I have searched FAQs and keywords and have not found this topic.

I have found a gorgeous 1g Talon with the 4G63 non-turbo. Is it easy to turbocharge it by swapping a turbo, manifolds, and ECU from a factory turbo car or is it just better to buy a car already turbocharged?

Thank you, in advance, for your time.

Yeah I found it this morning, before I checked the message. Thanks anyway tho.

I'd drop a turbo engine, ecu, and wiring harness (unless you know how to add the 2 extra wires you need - knock sensor, mas) in.

I've read that the trannies are pretty much the same except for gearing. A friend of mine was running a n/t tranny and it held up fine.

No you didn't search. Well not a good search at least.

The 4g63nt, and how to make a turbo kit for it.

Installing a turbo 4g63 into a 4g63 nt.

It is always easier to buy a car already turbocharged.
