hey guys i jus got my eclipse in sept and i now realize i need more power and ive been deciding on what to do and i think that hahn Stage 2 might be good for me but i was wondering if i would need any internal parts it says you dont but would i need new pistons, camshaft, cam gears, exhaust, conecting rods or maybe a clutch or anything else give me your thoughts and what i should do

Exhuast would be nice, but my stock clutch did fine and everything else till I boosted 9-10psi and it spiked to 11 at times. First thing to go would prob be your piston rings then...

On the more helpful side here I'll tell you this. Yes eventually your going to get a craving for more power. 8psi on the stock internals is not going to cut it with that 16G kit. My best advice is save up and do your motor and opt for the 20G upgrade. Your motor will last if you keep it at HRCs recommended boost levels but eventually your going to want more power.

so if i get the hahn stage 2 how long could i go with out doing anything but exhaust.....could i go a year or 2 with my stock engine and clutch...or jus to my rings and camshaft and all that all at the same time?

Personally, I would build the motor. It will last you but how long depends on you and how you treat it. Make sure you follow ALL of HRCs guidelines for supporting mods. Don't skimp on anything

one more ? is there any cheaper turbo ktis for my RS rather then the hahn or is hahn the best for its price... how hard is it to build own turbo

also what kind of pistions, camshaft, cam gears, pullys, exhaust, clutch, and all that do u guys recommend? also what about turbo timers, new blow off valve, new intercooler, or anything possible..give some good companys that i could get these products from and a est price..thanx

there's also the star turbo kit, which a lot of people get(including me) because of the price it's about 1,950 shipped for the stage 1 and around 2,900?(not really sure on the exact cost of the stage 2, I went with the stage 1) for the stage 2 at www.importparts.com.
as far as the motor check out www.howellautomotive.com they have all kinds of engine goodies :thumb:
oh yeah here's some of my setup I just got(yes I'm building my own i/c piping for the front mount)
link to pic sof my IC and stuff :)

can i havea few other opinions on my ? about all the parts and the pricing and what i should really get jus the answer to my last ? on here thanx

If you do actually go with the purchase of a hahn turbo kit or a star turbo kit you will be able to boost safely 8 psi. Anything over that will risk your motor. If you decide to do a performance bottom end kit then go with this from howell automotive.
