If u have an eclectronic boost controller and plus the wastgate, does the spring in the gate mater? example i got a used greddy wastgate 38mm, and he said it had the 7psi spring installed, will that limite the psi the turbo will be alowed to push? or will the controler still be able to control the psi? on top of that, what kind of hp/psi do u guys think a Innovative Turbo T3/T4 60 trim (so it has the T04B) can run/handle? plus i was thinking of going crazy and havin two side mount intercoolers and a front mount. that way i wouldn't have to settle for the HRC and run without my bumper. what do u guys think about that? and where is that oil line u need to T at, what does it look like?and where can i buy the items needed to run the oil drain, the oil line, the plug that hooks to the oil pan. and where can we buy SS fuel/oil lines for our cars?

What the hell are you talking about?? Two SMIC and a FMIC I think you are on the crack rock...

The only good question I got out of that was about the wastegate and the boost controller. IF you don't have a EBC you will only run 7psi because you have a 7psi spring. If you add a EBC you change the vaccum lines between the wastegate and the compressor housing and put the EBC between the two. Thus tricking the wastegate to allow more boost...

the line ur talking about is from the turbo to the wastgate right? yeah, it would be easy to have two SMIC and a FMIC, why do u say i'm crazy? just a couple of "s" pipes to conect the SMIC to the left and right side of the FMIC. and whats wronge with this question? what kind of hp/psi do u guys think a Innovative Turbo T3/T4 60 trim (so it has the T04B) can run/handle?" i reallt don't know what it can handle and is this just a dumb question or what? "where is that oil line u need to T at, what does it look like?and where can i buy the items needed to run the oil drain, the oil line, the plug that hooks to the oil pan. and where can we buy SS fuel/oil lines for our cars?" oh and turboed420A thanks for bareing with me, you'v answered many of my questions. so thank you very much!!

T fitting = homedepot Brass T fitting - information found in Chilton book

Oil comes from pressure sensor behind the block below cylinder #4 intake(driver side) it is like 2 diffrent colors.

I have an EBC but i was wondering wqith the 7psi spring installed, would that make it so that i culdn't set the psi belowe 7psi? i'm assuming the controller would let me but don't think the wastegate would actually change. wronge or right? could i just remove the the spring and run the greddy wastegate with out and have the EBC not have to trick it, so it will just control it. will that work or not?

wow.. is all i have to say....

plus i was thinking of going crazy and havin two side mount intercoolers and a front mount. that way i wouldn't have to settle for the HRC and run without my bumper.

why would you have to run without a bumper? also i cant even fathom the amount of pressure loss and lag and the sheer amount of extra work for no gain you would have to do to make that work...

just get ONE fmic and be done with it. all you will ever need

no, without a boost controller of any kind, doesnt have to be electronic..you are only gonna see about 4-5psi in the manifold because of IC pressure loss...unless you run the wastegate to the intake mani instead of the turbo thus raising the turbo's boost pressure to 9psi, getting a full 7 into the engine. a boost controller doesn't "trick" the wastegate into anything..it regulates the amount of boost the wastegate sees so that it will open when you want it to, not the setting it is set for.

could i just remove the the spring and run the greddy wastegate with out and have the EBC not have to trick it, so it will just control it. will that work or not?

wrong again...cant just remove the spring...what do you think holds the wastegate shut? without it the gate would be open at idle and you would never build boost...

what kind of hp/psi do u guys think a Innovative Turbo T3/T4 60 trim (so it has the T04B)

do you even know what T04B/ T04E mean? i doubt it. chances are if its a 60trim it will be an etrim.....the lettering refers to the compressor wheel...a Btrim will have 7 blades and an Etrim will have 6 blades, because it has 6 blades they are bigger and more efficient than the smaller B trim version.

chances are if your asking rudimentary questions like this you aren't ready to go past the basic limits of a stage 2 kit. i suggest you get the book "maximum boost" and read it a few times.

why do half the people on this site have to be jackasses, y can't you just answer peoples damn questions? maybe i'm not building anything maybe i'm just trying to learn. maybe i am readig that book and just wanted things to be cleared up a little.

not trying to be a jackass, just trying to clear things up for you...

if you think this is bad...try over at 2gnt....realy bunch of lives wires there..
