Kinda long synopsis, so here goes.....
99 GS, star II kit, eagle rods, je pistons, total seal rings, 1mm oversize valves, crane cams, crane springs, all clevite bearings, blah blah blah...the list goes on, so anyways.....
Took out the motor, sent it off to have shop assemble the motor. got it back put it in, didn't start. took the car to the shop and told them what happened and they said i had no oil pressure getting to the head and not working the lifters and they SAID they changed the oil filter and i got oil pressure up there.
Took car to get dyno tuned, blew something at 15psi. pretty sure it was head gasket. so took off head, got milled/decked/pressure tested (was warped) and put head back on with new HG and ARP head studs. after this i STILL have no compression, and now i have no oil pressure to my head AGAIN! Do i just have to crank on the engine all day long to get some pressure up there? Anybody got some suggestions? I wonder that if the starter doesn't crank it over fast enough, will it not turn the crank/oil pump pulley fast enough it won't pump fast enough to make decent pressure to the lifters, so could that be a problem also? it doesn't seem like it's turning over the engine too quickly either.....
Thanks,
Josh
