Who has the highest WHP for a T/C'd 420A?

Hey Everyone,

I am looking for whoever has the highest HP from a dyno, not estimated! I am in the process of installing a AEM EMS for the 420A using a 1050 box and a complete wiring harness from a 99 Accord to hook up all my sensors. My friends at www.torquefreaks.com estimate my wheel horsepower will be at ~425 with out using my NOS!!!!!!!!!!!

Heres my setup:

Engine-

Hahn turbo kit with front mount IC
Super 20g turbo
JE Pistons
JE Rings
Eagle forged Rods
Balanced Crank
60mm TB
Ported intake manifold to match TB
MSD coil pack/Accel wires/NGK 7E's
800cc fuel injectors
Flex-a-lite High performance oil cooler
Stock Head (for now)
Fluidyne custom radiator and hoses
Flex-a-lite SPAL dual cooling fans
AEM fuel pressure regulator
AEM air/fuel display
AEM intake temp sensor
3.5 bar MAP sensor
GM boost solenoid
AEM Electronic Management System
Nitrous Express wet system with 10lb tank, 35-50hp jets

Does anybody have any ideas how to make this car go faster without a bigger turbo or more NOS???

Major port work, you have a stock head, what r u thinking!? LOL jfwu

I'm assuming you already have exhaust (not listed) what piping?

fmic? intake? what type of bov are u running? cams? cam gears? lifters? rockers? etc etc??? LOL.

Just remember, to mod your car, performance parts will always spare in sale......but money will never be there....wtf? LOL

Hahn says that their head is stock with 475hp (no dyno slip though)

Exhaust: Custom 3" Stainless Downpipe, 3" Random Technology Cat, 3" Extreme Motorsports Stainless cat back

Hahn FMIC, Greedy Type-S, Venom Fuel Rail

Any suggestions to the perfect head set-up for our turbo 420As???? :thumb:
 
umm kinda LOL, you can completely port intake & exhaust outlets so they are gasket matched, & you are going to want to deep-pocket both as well. A 5-angle valve job should suite you perfectly, (don't know if this will be as beneficialy on turbo as it would on nitroust but you are going to want to highly port & polish your combustion chamber), 1mm oversized valves.....the list goes on

Hit up Jayden1 on this site, he has a turbo 420a w/ an extreme head. He can let you know what you should get. Oh SOME CAMS LOL, crane 0016s on howell :D . Some lifters, rockers, Springs & retainers.....As i said there are so many things you can do, you will just about run out of money doing them :cool:

You might want to upgrade your fuel pump (190lph should be enough)
 
382whp @20lbs of boost on a 20g.

no electric fuel system.. only sfmu and 440cc injectors, but many more supporting mods.

you idea of whp for your car is grossly over rated. you wont be that high. I personally don't think hrc is as high as they say they are. when you get to the 400whp threshold. there isn't much left you can do with nos.

Got a dyno sheet for that 382hp on 20psi? If not I call BS :thumbdown

To the guy who started the thread, look at www.armond30.com. He has actual dyno sheets and logs to back up all of his data. This should give you a better idea of what it actually takes to get 400+hp.

No need to call BS on that guy. He can back it up.

And as for the 2.6L turbo bish. It's on eBay right now. I bet Brynden might sell it for $10k cash. The auction is up in a day or so, so you better hurry. He's not stripping it and it's pretty badass.

HAHAHA.....sorry but you must be a new member cuz SUIECLIPSE has been on here forever and I have watched his car progress, no need to call BS on this guy, when I had my non turbo this guy was my idle..

you may call it BS, but i call it jelousy

keep up the work on that 420a motor SUI....i gave up on mine when i had pretty much all the bolt ons in the book and hit a 15.6, LOL...your car is SICK....

and DR1665....

hows ur all motor project coming? havent really heard anymore about it from you...and the reason you havent heard from me...LOL, well my 1g was down for the last 5 months..not ne more tho we gotta meetr up sometime

I'm not new and I've never seen him back it up either. I'd be interested in seeing a dyno sheet as well.

The last dyno sheet he posted was for 264hp and that one is in his gallery, but I'm with you I'm sure if he did do 382hp that he has a dyno sheet to show for it. ;)
 
382 whp on 440's, I don't buy it. I'm making 313 awhp with 550's at 90% IDC. Before I put the 550's in the stock 450's were seeing 115% IDC. You must have some sky high fuel pressure and a magical fuel pump.

I agree with what you say about hrc and their claims. Are you still using the internal wastegate on your 20g? Man that turbo was a tight fit against the starter. I also took out my A/C compressor and lines to allow more room for my 3" downpipe.

If you are running 382whp on 440cc, correct me I'm wrong but I believe your injectors are almost maxed out 80-90% You should step up to the 625cc or the 800cc... Keep up the great work with your car. I will find out by next week and post a dyno slip if the install and tuning with EMS and 800cc injectors get finished in time. anybody interested in an extra 2.5" stainless downpipe without the flange, email me for a pic...

I agree, Armond is hitting 400hp with 720s. I don't see how 440s can hold up to 382hp.

yes im still with the internal 20g.


hey guys.. 440cc injectors on a GS with other fuel mods can support 21lbs of boost. at 21lbs of boost you top out the injectors.

i have many other mods that make up horsepower, this car isn't simply a bottom end and boost.

Please do explain this. Also, lets see the dyno sheet so we can see what your A/F looks like.

OK that's fine but why don't you just post up the dyno sheet? That would take a lot less time. Who cares about watching a car on rollers when the only thing you really need to see is a dyno sheet. :thumbdown

did you not just read what he wrote? the video shows his dyno sheet. pull the stick out of your ass and wait for the damn video :dsm:
