Did a search, and couldn't find anything. I'm thinking of purchasing a Hahn Stage 2 Kit in the next few months. I know I'll need to replace the engine internals, but what about the automatic transmission? Is there any parts that will need to be replaces/upgraded?

You can get higher stall converter, different gears, final drive gears. This is what i have done to my car. You can get some good lanches with the right converter. With a hrc stage 2, I broke a rod with 10lbs. before any tranny problems. now time for the engie work. try to search more, that is how I found my parts.

Yeah, I dont really think that you need to upgrade right away. Once you have your motor built and are pushing some real boost, then I would think about it. Remember, although our cars stand up pretty well to bolt-on turbo kits, they were not designed to be turboed cars and almost every aspect will be affected at some point when boost is applied. Just be careful.

But for right now, you will be fine. Just worry about the turbo and the motor.

I would highly doubt it. The tranny has nothing to do with the turbo.

Yes, i know the type of oil would have nothing to do with the hood flying off. But you cant latch the hood very well if you dont remove the can you no-selling-waste-of-space, i swear to god you're worthless.

Har..hope you like tommyboy. Yes, i'd hope if he was buying a turbo kit he'd know enough about it to know it doesnt attach directly to the transmission. Maybe he meant the tranny was only meant for stock 140hp, and the 40hp or whatever increase from a turbo kit might make it very prone to breaking.
