Hey guys I got my 4G63T TODAY. I know I can handle the transmission end of it but what I need to know is what to do about my wire harness. I heard I could use the non-turbo harness but I had to wire up the knock sensor. Is this true? I have the motor, turbo / manifold and 2g intercooler. I need my ecu and the plumbing for turbo and intercooler. Is there any real major modification besides fuel pump and wire harness that I need to worry about? Any info to get started would be much appreciated. I can't wait I am so happy and I thought that I could never get this stuff. Please any info to help me start and finish my project car would be awesome. Thanks in advance every one. This was my daily driver but since its been down more than up she has been a nice garden ornament. I want her to be my daily driver once again but with a hell of a alot more attitude. Thanks guys. :thumb: :dsm: :D

Knock sensor is easy. Black wire to the ground and the white or whatever color wire to the ECU under the knock sensor pin. Make sure you have the turbo ECU or this mod will be useless.

I got a 1 gen turboed motor from a 92 eclipse and am putting it in a 96 eagle talon ESI (2.0 non-turboed DOHC), so all i need to do is use a ECM from the 92 and add the knock sensor to it from my 96? And add a 255 pump? I'm going to fab a custom FM intercooler to it. Anything ealse need to complete the swap?

You will also need custom motor mounts, probably a stiffer engine bay frame, a whole new wiring harness, TSI FWD tranny, and a few other goodies which will cost you $.
