I have a couple of questions. 1st, with 310cc injectors, what would the max boost be that would be safe to run? 2nd, I have heard and read that with the vortech sfmu, you should stick with the 12:1 disk. I am assuming that would be with stock injectors. Would it be necessary to change the disk with 310's?

those injectors would only be good for about 200 horse. Why would you want to change the disk.

310cc injectors are actually good for quite a bit more then 200hp. I have been using 310cc injectors to fuel 10-12psi (roughly 250 wheel hp) of boost and I even run rich still. I wouldn't go beyond 12 pounds of boost with 310cc's. I'm going to need larger injectors before I will feel comfortable boosting any higher.

Forgot what disk size I am using for my SFMU. I found the right disk for my setup by looking at the fuel curves provided by Vortech for each disk. Then I used the disk that looked most suitable to match my powerband.

Hmff. I must have a set of magical 310cc injectors then :p

All I know is they flow the fuel for me, and then some (running rich). Just no more then 12psi.

I don't think an electronic fuel controller would help me (or other 420a's at similar boost levels) much, if at all. I've been able to tune my fuel system exactly how I want it with the S-FMU. It really is a great FPR for the money. Who knows, after some dyno pulls I might find out that I do need extra fuel control - I doubt it though.

The ecu for the 420a will idle 310's without additional support from a afc or other piggy back controler. And tons of people are using them for up to 250 hp and maybe a little more. But I agree, I would run more than 10-12 psi on them.

damn well thats a good thing cause if i can run 250 horse on 310cc that help me out. I was planning on buying some like 650cc injectors cause i was going buy that formula. so will 36lb injectors be good for 300 hosrse. I gonna have the boost at 3 psi until i get an intercooler, the shop i had my head intake exhaust manifold work done at said by the cfm the stock head flows compared to what it flows now 3 psi on my car will be like 6 on an eclipse with the stock head and intake manifolds. I got my turbo just gotta finish putting the engine back together.
