2003 Evo Intercooler setup for 420a

Anyway.. My buddy is selling me his stock EVO intercooler for REALLY cheap.. like 175.
I saw that hahn has a manifold and 16g kit for like 699...
anyway, how could i be certain that the evo will work for my turbo upgrade? <I know theres other crap that i need, but these are the major parts.>

I believe the evo ic has the inlet/outlet on different sides. Assumeing the thing will mount up to the body and no it anything, your gonna need to get custom pipes made.
