Salem,
If you made your own kit for the 420a motor could you tell me if the gains were as good as a full namebrand kit? Was it worth it?

It all depends on the chosen parts really. A homemade turbo kit could end up pushing more power than an "off the shelf 420a turbo kit" (off the shelf, yeah right) - if a large enough turbo was used. I would think the trickiest part of a home made system would be the piping fabrication. But as far as power output (at same boost pressure) it all really depends on the size of the turbo used.

Let's see some home made kits!

Hi!

First time poster from NYC here.

I just made a nice log style turbo header tonight and bolted up EVERYTHING minus OIL LINES!

Do any of you guys know how and where do I tap the engine for oil feed to the turbocharger?

:(

Thanks for your help!

PS, running a .60/.63 T3, which was a spare from my Twin turbo 94 5.0 Mustang.

PS:NOT A TROLL!!!!!!!1

I OWN A 95 GS 2.0 with an automatic transmission on the DRIVERS SIDE.
