2G-specific To all the 95 and up running the star turbo kit or even hahn turbo kit...

What's up guys... Im soon going to be turbocharged probably next weekend with a star stage 2 kit. Here are some questions for the people with kits, hopefully star buyers will help out...

Was the oil line to the turbo to the oil pan pretty easy to do?
Is star's manual good?
What problems did you guys have installing the kit? if any at all?
Did you also run synthetic after the kit?
Did all of you run stock piping for the exhaust for a while? if so, once you did get that 3 inch upgrade, did you feel a major difference?
And also, how easy was to install the FMIC? Any modification to fitment occur?
And last but not least, was the fuel pump and FMU easy to install?

Please guys, any information is appreciated, I want to do everything right the first time... Search for these kind of answers aren't that well explained, that's why im posting. Hopefully i can get some answer's out of everyone!

Thanks alot!

If your looking for a good Star Performance kit seller...

http://imoto.com/shopsite_sc/store/h...rformance.html

I had to order a second intercooler (I busted the first one) and went through these guys. Try them. The reseller I bought my kit from no longer sells them - so now I would think Imoto.com would be the way to go. (no overboost.com!).

Just heard nothing but bad things about Overboost as a Star Kit dealer. Heard it takes them a matter of months to get the kit to you. Plus you can't even order any of the kit options from them.

the star instructions suck there like 4pages long.. but i liked my stage 2 star kit better then my freinds hahn kit and i bought mine off importparts.com if u order from them just make sure they have it in stock it took like 3weeks for me to get it cause it was on backorder...the overall install was pretty easy, as long as u know your way around a car its cake, just remember to prime the oil line to the turbo. i got all excited and almost forgot when i was done..
