get internal saves soo much rooma and room is a issue with custom kits i know for as fact im kicking my self in the ass right now trying to figure out what to do........my cars been down for a week now and i have 89% done but the external gate position is an issue now  i can barely fit eveything else unless you get an after market manifold i just made an adapter from my stock mani to the turbo hope that helped you ...:dsm:

Definately go with the internal wastegate, it makes the turbo a easy bolt on in that you don't need to make any flages on your exhaust manifold to accomidate the external wastegate. Also depending on your preferance you would either have to dump the wastegate in the engine compartment or fabricate something to connect it to your downpipe. And if you really do like the short wastegate dump, you can always get a o2 housing that has a dump for your internal wastegate setup.
