Megasquirt questions??

Hey guys I have some questions about the MSNS. I really want to purchase a pre assembled kit but can not find out where to buy it. I have looked up the kits and they seem to have several kits just not sure which one to get. Im new with all this and I have a friend that is goin to help me with it all. I just figured this is the best way to go about my tunning. I was curious on bout how much i will be spending and is it hard to get it up and running?
Not sure if you need to know my set up but i have a fully built bottom end, so im wanting to crank the boost.
If you guys could help me out or just point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Levi

MegaSquirt ECUs - at RS-Autosport.com - Real EFI for Real People on Real Budgets

SymTech Laboratories: Design, consulting, prototyping, and manufacturing

These would be the two places, I would buy from...

It depends on which kit you buy. At the very minimum, you need a properly set up box (specifically for the 420A), wiring harness, IAT and ECT sensors. I always recommend buying the IAT and ECT sensors locally (they're very common parts) as you'll likely save money. You can go here for the part numbers/applications of these sensors:

http://www.symtechlabs.com/Support/Part_Numbers.htm

Beyond that, you'll a proper fuel setup for your needs and a wideband O2 setup is highly recommended. The fuel system is highly dependent on your goals, so you'll need to design and build that yourself. The wideband O2 can be found from many vendors and is usually easily incorporated into MSnS-E at any point during the installation process.

Msns

Ok thanks a lot guys for your help. waiting on my tax money to come back so i can buy it. Im really hoping this fixes my prob. I cant get my car to run. It cranks but just wont start. My friend who works on turbo eclipses thinks that it is my computer so thats why i was goin to go with the MSNS and go ahead and do the full stand alone. I have checked everything else out and it all seems to be ok. Even if this does not fix the prob i need this setup bad. If yall can think of anything else to help me out or any ideas as to why its not starting i would really appreciate it. Thanks again

Start a new thread about the no-start in the Bolt-On Tech area, including what you have thus far checked, and the results of those checks.
