2.0 auto tranny on a 1.8????

Will this work? My friend just bought a 90 laser rs to take the 2.0 out and put it in his car and he wanted to know if i wantd the tranny since mine is blown but i wasnt sure if it would work???

well, from what i read it will bolt on but u will have prolblems with the starter it won't match up with the flywheel right or somthin like that.
