how often do you guys change your tranny fluid? and how do you know when to change it? thanks
 
Ususally, the books mentioned changing out fluid (normal driving) after 30 to 35 K miles using ATF+4 (for Chrysler exclusive), or SP-II compatible fluids (Mitsubishi). AMSOIL makes a universal fluid that works great for DSM trannies...

If the fluid is dark and burnt smelling, it needs to come out pronto...
