I searched for hours on this one and came across it...

QDF3I - Quaife Engineering

Talked to the internet tech and made sure it was official.. It 645 pounds..He said it was 959 usd $$ OMFG I AM LIKE THE ####ING ABE LINCOLN OF THE 420a WORLD NOW ..This is big shit...

I did the conversion from british to usd and it said like 439.00/ The tech there said it was 959.00usd I am not gonna complain atleast its in stock

he was right it is 959

UK£ 645.00 = 958.9215 U.S. dollars

So, by official you mean it is in stock? He layed his hands on the box? I am not sure how you checking the manufacturer of an item makes you the OMFG I AM LIKE THE ####ING ABE LINCOLN OF THE 420a WORLD NOW ..This is big shit...

If it is in stock, cool, but I would not expect people making a dash to scoop these up.

After 1 day shipping 170.00
A customs search 30.00

It arrived today with a 1129.00 total bill.

Cant beat that...

Congratulations it'll transform your cars handling and traction for sure, even just putting one of those slip in diffs made a big diff :p for me! If your installing it yourself have fun putting the bellhousing back together :p

Oh yeah RRE has Quaifes I don't know if they're in stock but its listed on their site:
Road Race Engineering's Eclipse Drivetrain Upgrades

Strange they list the price different on another page:
The Quaife Automatic Torque Biasing Differentials

Rre said they are no longer available for the 420a. England only had a few left to. Where I got mine at. If they weren't 2 billion dollars they would be in demand

Bummer are there anymore options out there besides something like a Phantom grip? I'm surprised they don't make em because what about those neon guys? All cars should come with an LSD :p

Nope. Quaife made them for a long time, but I guess there just wasn't enough demand to justify them continuing to manufacture LSD's for this platform.

Well if they weren't 1500.00 I mean come on LOL... But obx is good for like 350 or so according to that big thread on the honda forums about them

They were within the $900 range for a while before they were discontinued. That price is from domestic resellers too, no import taxes or other fees... just the cost of shipping. Whatever the reason, they're "gone" now.

I personally have never drove a car with over 400hp without lsd... But I am guessing it would be very very poinltess and you would stand still and spin right? So the LSD is worth every penny then is it not?

Although i'm a factory turbo car, in the track cars i've worked on i've dealth with both Quaiffe and KAAZ and the Quaiffe is what you want, the KAAZ won't stand up to the abuse that the quaffe will especially launching on slicks with over 300 horses.. this diff will fuunction smooth and quiet and bring a nice surprise to your adrenaline when you're making some power and actually hooking up, or roasting both fronts at 60MPH in third drifting the front end sideways.... probably one of the best 1400 dollars purchases i've ever made on my FWD DSM
